Hi girls....i’m back and today i’m going to review a kajal pencil from AVON. J AVON has many eye pencils but I wanted to try my hands on kajal so I bought this. :P I found it good. This was my first kajal pencil and had a very good experience with it.

Here is the product:-

Avon kajal pencil comes in a pencil form which can be sharpened. The pencil is black in color with a matte silver cap & bottom. Black is the only color available. It has a creamy texture & glides very smoothly.

My Experience :-

I have a good experience with this kajal, since i have sensitive eyes, it didn’t irritated my eyes.
It smudges around my eyes...which i dont like at all, so i dont often use it.
I avoid using this kajal coz it has very less staying power and moreover it smudges a lot.
It can b washed out very easily with water.
It is very affordable.
It can b applied very smoothly and does not irritates my eyes.
The pencil is of 2.6 Gm and I got it from an AVON Representative for Rs. 70.

With this tutorial, i'm going to introduce a new feature on my blog, i.e "Dare to Wear", (D-T-W on menu bar), wear i would post almost ~~insane~~ (read: non-wearable) and creative tutorials. This is going to be my interpretation of the latest Illamasqua Sophie-I Technique. I was wanting to do it, by erasing half of my eyebrows and then drawing new one, but since i couldn't find my fevi stick i could not lol :D

I don't have illamasqua products.. but lets start with my tutorial

Hi all !!

Today i'd be reviewing one of the blush i bought in 2010, you can say probably my official blush, because whatever i had before that was just bought "like that" ..you know when you just get things of no use but end up getting them. This is simply a very gorgeous pink blush with warm tones, and slight gold sheen that imparts a healthy glow with a rosey flush.
It is -- Maybelline Expert Blush no.95 Potpourri

I think its not available now, as many of my friends wanted to buy this, and since they were not able to lay their hands on it, i assume its discontinued now.

Price : INR 209/-

Quantity : 4.5gms

Shelf life : 2yrs from the date of manufacturing

The blush is housed inside a black plastic case, with a transparent see through lid. The ingredients, price, no. and shade etc have been clearly mentioned behind the blush. A brush is also provided along it, which i believe can be best used while travelling, otherwise i use my regular kabuki brush to use any blush. The brush however is soft, but blending of blush might be a task with it.

In Natural Light

The shade as you can see is definitely wearable, although the shimmers are very minute, and just provide that slight sheen or glow one needs on face. The blush's pigmentation is just average. It stays for max.2 hours, and then starts to fade evenly. The blush does have fallout, but where blending is concerned it goes on smoothly.

In Direct Sunlight

The blush is not chalky or powdery, the image above has been taken so because to show you the blush. It doesn't has a noticeable fragrance. The staying power as i said is very low. It didn't broke me out too.

Why i like this blush ??

Affordable.
Nice packaging along with the brush, that can be used for touch ups.
Fragrance free.
Non chalky or powdery.
Decent pigmentation.
Color suitability

What could have been better ?

Slight more deeper pigmentation.
Stay put time.

Well yeah, that's obviously too much i'm asking from a blush that costs 209/-

But incase if you find it anywhere i would definitely recommend it , because it is great for gifting younger sisters, friends etc (if you're on a budget ofcourse). This is definitely better drug store blush, just the staying time is little less.

The mascara comes packed in a cardboard case, which has details regarding the product. It has listed the ingredients for both the formula's , infact thats good, but i didn't had the courage to write down the long ingredient names. The mascara itself is a sleek silver metallic tube, very shiny and blingey. The center part has the brushes on its both ends, which are obviously covered with the respective formula tubes (did i make any sense ?? )

Ok lets see why i am loving it so much

I'm definitely loving the concept of 2 mascara's in 1.
The formula is light weight and not thick, and doesn't clumps much even after 2-3 coats.
The volumizing brush, despite of being thick, evenly coats the lashes from the base of the roots.
Similarly the lengthening brush is slim, and is perfect to get the long lashes. Its perfect to be used on lower lashes too.
The combination of both the mascara's help in achieving the perfect dramatic lashes

Now see the difference

Although it's a pricey mascara, but the results are definitely good. The concept of 2-in-1 mascara is definitely great, cause you don't have to buy 2 separate mascara's then. The mascara has survived my watery eyes and tears too, but can be washed easily with your face wash, and can be removed by using an eye makeup remover. It hasn't caused any irritation to my eyes. It takes sometime to dry, but else survives whole day without any flakiness or shedding of the "dried mascara". It also doesn't has that particular "mascara" smell. Overall a good, decent and perfect product.

So finally the much awaited Blisscovered Box arrived today. While all the fellow bloggers received it last week, i had to settle down with it this week, because of the courier people..its a long story. So my anticipation for the box got a bit low, since most of the bloggers received almost the same products. This is just a haul post, i would do a separate post for my Blisscovered experience.
