This is one product that i am loving these days !!

Recently i went at maybelline counter and came across this product--- :O !! and i knew that moment i have to buy it , reasons ?? Following are the reasons :P

I trust the brand- Maybelline.
I do more eye makeup as well as love lip shades and glosses,one of the major reason i bought this.
It is easily affordable, priced at INR:125/-
It is a brand easy to be found in India (so i'm relaxed that i won't be running out of stock)
Comes in a handy small bottle of 40ml/1.411 Fl.oz

So now here is what it looks like ....

It Claims:-

Efficient & easy:- This formula instantly removes all eye and lip makeup , even waterproof and non-transfer.
Gentle:- Formulated for sensitive eyes it is especially very gentle for the delicate skin around eyes.
To use:- Shake before use. Soak a cotton pad with the lotion and apply on your eyes or lips and wipe off.

My view:-

It was extremely gentle on my eyes (i have sensitive eyes, and it didn't sting me). It almost felt like cleaning my makeup using something like water.
Dab it on cotton pad, place it on the makeup area, let it rest for 30-40 seconds and then gently wipe off the makeup. It is as simple as it.
Removed all kind of eye makeup-- eyeshadows, waterproof eyeliner, kohl pencil, i even removed my waterproof mascara using it.
I can recommend it to people who use contact lenses, have sensitive eyes.
Definitely going to repurchase it :)

Here are the benefits of using it :-

Ø Repairs and nourishes devitalized hair fibre.
Ø Hair is left revitalized, soft and shiny.
Ø It’s major content Neofibrine, a unique combination of Bio-Mimetic, natural wax, shine perfecting agent and a UV filter for hair.

It’s Ingredients are:-

Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Candelilla Wax, Amodimethicone, Cetyl Esters, Isopropyle Alcohol, Glycrin, Methylparaben, Trideceth-12 and Fragrance.

How to use it :-

Apply and massage into shampooed and towel-dried hair. Leave in for 2-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.

My Experience:-

This hair mask is basically thick cream based and have a very pleasant smell. My experience with it has been very good as my hair were very difficult to manage coz I have frizzy type of hair.. L but after using this product i’ve just fall in love with my hair.. J and I dint faced any problem with it. It made my hair so smooth and soft and made me to just flaunt my curls... :P

May cause some tingling sensation due to herbal active ingredients, which is normal.

Whenever I feel I'm going to get a pimple .

Today i'd be reviewing Lux Magic Spell Body Wash !! "Magic Spell" sounds quite like something magical taking over you !! LOL ok i agree i'm not good at coming up with stories :P but anyways you must have checked it in my last haul. I bought it on my trip to Big Bazaar, but you can nevertheless get it from online stores or local shops tooo !!

I love body washes, precisely because of the fact i love different kinds of exotic fragrances, and apart from the fragrance body washes are mess-free, and one can indulge in a bit of 'luxury' feeling + they last long (not all fragrances, i'm talking about the quantity). This one was in offer (it includes a loofah too).

Quantity & Price :-

I love the packaging, its a sturdy plastic body and has this flip-top cap. This makes it easy for travelling, although i don't like to carry a lot of baggage

The body was is pearly dark purple in color, almost like a shampoo !! I normally dilute my body washes in some water before using them, this helps in using the product optimally, without any wastage.

What i like about Lux Magic Spell Body Wash :-

I love love loveeeeeeeeee the fragrance of this body wash !! Its soo exotic, a mix of fresh orchid flowers, and some berries !! Strong yet sweet
It lathers very well and a little amount if enough. It washes out easily.
The fragrance calms my senses and my mood uplifts !! Thats a big thing, smelling good definitely makes you cheerful.
The price and quantity (+the loofah lol ) is worth every penny.

What i don't like about Lux Magic Spell Body Wash :-

The fragrance doesn't stay for long time, thats the only con i can think of.

Ok i know there's been a lot of product reviews, but i would soon start posting tutorials too *pinky promise*

MAKEUP MY PASSION'S CELEBRATION GIVEAWAY

Hi girls...today I am going to do a post about the Accessories which I won in a giveaway hosted by Krupa Matti in Allaboutladies blog.

As I’ve participated in a giveaway for the 1^st time I was not expecting that I’ll won. But to my surprise I won the giveaway and got some beautiful accessories. These were from Max, Globus sent to me by the host Krupa.

It was my last exam (which was not very gud L) and when I returned home the parcel was in front of me. I was so excited and happy that I forgot everything and opened the parcel. I got earrings, clutcher and a neckpiece made of pearls with a detachable brooch. J Big thanks to Ms. Krupa. J

Here is my prize:-

The neck piece was bit long than my neck so I decided to do some experiment with it. I dissembled the neck piece and made a small neckpiece of my neck size and two bracelets out of it.

Here are they:-

I cut the thread and used its nylon thread for making the same neckpiece. After deciding its length I put a lock which I can open and close to put the neckpiece. J

And to make the bracelets I broke my old bracelets (which I never liked :-/) and used their strings for my new pearls bracelets. J

In this way I recycled my old jewellery and got a beautiful neck piece apt for my neck and two very beautiful bracelets. It took hardly an hour for the whole procedure.

Big thanks to Krupa again for the beautiful prize. J

Hii guys !! So finally its monsoon and -- humidity, sweat, pollution, sun's harsh rays !! We have so many enemies that so badly effect our hairs. So i thought to come up with a hair care update after one of my friend, nisha requested me to do so and i'm sure you all would be interested in this one because -- YES everyone has bad hair days !!

My hair care update is basically on products and things i use in order to maintain my hairs during this season, especially when i tend to have bad hair fall if hairs not taken good care.

So today i'm going to give a review about following 3 products that i've been (or have) using so far :-

Loreal Paris Total Repair 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner.
Loreal Paris NUTRI-GLOSS Mirror Shine Shampoo & Conditioner.
Parachute Advanced Therapie Hair Vitaliser- Hair Fall Control

Besides these products i will be sharing some points how to take care of your hairs with home made things, or some simple stuff you can do in order to prevent your hairs from damage. So stay tuned :)

I started using this shampoo & conditioner because i thought that maybe it would heal split-ends , dull hair, dry-freezy hair and the most important reason seasonal HAIRFALL !! It claims to do so, the bottle says - "FIGHTS 5 SIGNS OF DAMAGE" ---- > a. Hair Fall b. Dryness c. Roughness d. Dullness d. Split Ends. So basically this product claims to be all-in-one weapon to fight against damaged hairs. Damaged hairs could be due to any reason, excessive hair styling, harsh chemicals, pollution, poor care ( yes diet plays an important part in health of your hairs ) and so many more reason to count. But did i get all benefit it states ??

For me it didn't work as expected, after using it i still had split ends, it didn't stop the hair fall ( usually i don't have hair fall, but this season round the year i do because of the mixed weather :| )
It did removed any kind of roughness and dullness , but i wouldn't say it made my hairs super soft.
So out of 5 signs, it did only 2 things for me, so based on that i would RATE it 2/5 ( because for the rest 3 signs it didn't show any improvement )
Shampoo Price : INR 220/- for 400ml bottle
Conditioner Price : INR 150/- for 180gms bottle
Not going to repurchase it !!

Loreal Paris NUTRI-GLOSS Mirror Shine Shampoo & Conditioner

This is one of my favorite shampoo of all times, no matter how many times i have used it, this worked wonders for me. My hairs just love this shampoo and the conditioner is awesome !! <3<3 It has always left my hairs soft , shiny, manageable and yes my hairs live with this shampoo !! i get enough bounce and life in my hairs. This is one product i can always rely on. It even helped me with dry scalp/hair fall/dry freezy hairs/ !! it just worked wonders for me . And yes i love its PINK packaging lol :D
The bottle says it has Protein+Pearl , "Nourishes & Illuminates Mirror Shine Cashmere Touch" , and it works as it says in its description :)
As far as i have used it, i never experienced any split-ends , dry or dull hairs, or plain limp hairs.
Shampoo's Price : INR 130/- for 200ml bottle.
Conditioner's Price : INR 150/- for 180gms.
Rating: 5/5 !! <3

Parachute Advanced Therapie Hair Vitaliser- Hair Fall Control:-

This is the hair oil i use, ok first of all i don't oil my hairs daily or alternatively. I use this oil once or twice a week and my hairs are healthy !! yes this is the food i feed to my hairs lol :P .. It really helped in reducing and eventually finishing off the hair fall i had in this weather + it also works great for me !!

A great must have for all people who suffer from hair fall problem.
It was a great success for me + it just made my hairs look healthy and i started noticing hair growth.
It has Root Healing Complex and is basically an oil-based vitaliser which heals damaged roots thereby controlling hair fall and thus promoting new hair growth.
Massage it overnight and see the magic. (P.S It says massage overnight and use it thrice a week) , but i guess it depends on how often you need to use it.
The last bottle i had was priced @ INR 190/- for 190ml of bottle.

Going to repurchase it ;)

SOME MORE POINTS !!

Don't do excessive styling, i mean limit the styling to occasions only, because who would want damaged hairs all time.
Use mild shampoo's which are soft and gentle and don't ruin ph balance of your hairs.
Do use conditioners but in small amount just enough to create the layer on the length of your hairs and wash.
Use olive oil, that's the best oil you can have for hairs.
Don't use a cotton pillow-cover , that's what i do ( cotton soaks up moisture and you wouldn't want to loose moisture out of your locks ).
When going out in sun, do cover your hairs and try to protect from direct sun.
Let your hairs air-dry not blow-dry.

These are few products i use and few tips what i usually do , and i don't mind pampering myself with these when you get such fantastic results, do tell what you do for your hair care below in comments and let me know if this helped you in anyways. This facewash is very beautiful, golden pearlscent in color , quite runny in texture. It has Grapes & Plums Sun Protection and it says that facewash leaves a sun protection film on face after wash. This is what it looks like ..

I've used this facewash a few times by now and i absolutely love its fragrance (although it sometimes smell like a shampoo)
Leaves skin with a glow and doesn't have a drying effect.
Suitable for all skin types.
Price INR 110/- for 80gms
Overall i'm happy with the facewash (3.5/5)

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun absolute- Anti Tan Scrub:-

One thing that i love about this scrub is that it's not too harsh or coarse texture wise. The texture is light creamy and has small granules which are not hard for skin (trust me i have sensitive skin and can't bear those typical walnut scrubs on my face ). It also claims to have Strawberry seeds & walnut shells + turmeric to lighten the complexion.

The Scrub is not greasy and small granules are not harsh on skin but still exfoliate the skin to a good extent.
Use it twice a week for better results.
Suitable for all skin types.

Nice and gentle face scrub (4/5)

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun- Extreme Sun Block Cream:-

The one thing that made me buy this kit was a good Sunblock !! Now sunblock usually work by providing 2 kinds of mechanism--- few will deflect the UV rays, while few others will absorb the UV light and release heat.

Lotus Herbals Extreme Sun Block Cream

I found the sunblock a bit cumbersome while applying it :-/ but anyways it offers a broad spectrum covering protection from UVA+UVB rays.
This sunblock has a SPF60 (spf= Sun protection factor)
Has Oregano, Chamomile, and Carrot Extracts which are anti-oxidant and anti-irritant, soothing and calming, and anti-tan respectively.
Suitable for all skin types.
Price- INR 375/- for 50gms

Lotus Herbals Safe Sun DeTAN face pack:-

This is a very effective anti-tan pack i have come across. I have already used it before and i loved it <3 . This is how it looks like..

The actual cost of all these products all together is INR 865/- , while i ordered them online from Homeshop18 for INR 699/- and cash on delivery option.
