Hello Beauties,

I’m back again with two other Colorbar gems. No I’m not their brand ambassador im just in love with their products. Today I’ll be reviewing 2 eyeshadows -Gorgeous Gold & Expensive Pink. For the full review of Colorbar eyeshadows go here

Price: Rs 300 for 3 gms
Shelf life : Best before 3 yrs of manufacturing

Pigmentation :Very highly pigmented. Doesn’t need a primer to bring out the color even with a single swipe

Staying Power : Excellent staying power.Stays for 6-7 hrs without a primer with just a bit of creasing

Gorgeous Gold :-
This is one of my favourite eyeshadows or should I say a highlighter..It is a light golden lemony shade with fine whitish silver shimmer which is perfect for highlighting your brow bone, the inner corners of your eyes and your cheeks. I use it mostly as a highlighter rather than an eyeshadow.

Expensive Pink :-
It’s a plumish pink shade with slightly red undertones. It has very fine plum coloured shimmers which are very subtle and give a nice sheen. It can be worn as a single E/S all over the lid or used as a crease eyeshadow.. I don’t like doing a black smokey look but this is a perfect shade to do a subtle smokey look. I just apply “expensive pink” all over the lid and blend a bit of black eyeshadow on the outer edge. It’s a very versatile shade and can be worn any which way you like be it for offices, cocoktail parties or Indian ethnic wear.I even apply it to line my eyes and it looks just like Colorbar’s I glide pencil in the prunella shade

Here's me wearing expensive pink all over the crease :-

Here i've used Expensive pink all over the lid :-

Unlike Colorbar’s “Really Rose” Eyeshadow this didn’t fall out 1 bit. ”Expensive Pink” is one of the prettiest shades I’ve come across.A definite must have for any eye makeup lover.

Here i've used Gorgeous gold to highlight brow bone and inner corner of eye :-

And here i've used Gorgeous gold as a cheek highlighter :-

Gorgeous Gold has very minimal fallout and like most Colorbar eyeshadows it is very easy to blend. It has very good staying power and when applied over my blush to highlight my cheeks it made my blush last even longer !!

Have you tried Colorbar Expensive pink & gorgeous gold eyeshadows ?

Hi all !!
Today i'd be quickly reviewing another Body lotion from the Enchanteur's body lotion range, of which i've already reviewed the Charming body lotion. I prefer this body lotion over the previous one, find out to know why..

Claims :-
Indulge your skin with the specially Enriched Enchanteur Moisture Silk Hand & Body lotion. With emollients that softly cushion your skin, this lotion effectively keeps you fragrant and fresh all day.
Available in sizes of 500ml, 250ml, and 100ml

Price : INR 69/-
Quantity : 100ml

I will not go into describing the packaging again as it has the same packaging, and its been already covered here. The texture is again light weight and gets easily absorbed into the skin leaving a very nice fragrance.

In comparison with its other variant, i like love it more as this is apt for all the ladies who want a feminine fragrance in their body lotions. The previous one was a bit too strong and more suitable for men or for women who love strong fragrances.

The staying power of this variant is a bit disappointing if compared to "Charming" becaust it was strong so it lingered on for a good 3-4hrs, whereas "Romantic" stays on for around 2-3 hrs, but thats again ok as far as the fragrance is not too strong for my liking. It moisturizes and hydrates the skin well, so no complaints for that. I would have loved if this one too stayed for a longer time.

This swatch is from the "Charming" variant, although both the lotions are almost same

Overall this is the body lotion i'd prefer buying over the Charming variant, because its fragrance is more subtle and apt for me + it hydrates the skin well. I again would suggest the dry skin girls to give it a thought before buying it because it may not be moisturizing for the dry skin, whereas for normal/combi skin this is a perfect body lotion.

Have you tried Enchanteur Moisture Silk Body Lotions ??

Godbless !!

P.S :- Product sent by the brand for consideration, although it hasn't affected my opinion.
Hi all !!
Just to inform you all that i have sent in my entry for the amazing contest held at Zestfulnail. I'd like to thanks Uzma for inviting me to take part, and i'm moreover glad that i could make it before the deadline LOl .. umm i was too distracted for the past few days, therefore this wasn't a planned look. I just clicked whatever random stuff i did on my eyes .. and after thinking for 2-4 days whether to send it or not, i finally gave it in.. So here's my first entry for the contest..

GALAXY CARNIVAL

This look of course isn't wearable until and unless you're going out for a carnival, and i didn't wanted to blend out the colors to extreme to make it wearable, i just wanted the colors to be prominent and fun !!

I have sent in another entry, and hopefully i'll share it with you all once its published. Do check out this amazing contest being held on Zestulnails blog by Uzma in collaboration with L'oreal. I also want to send in a few entries for the same contest being held on New Love makeup, and Vanity No Apologies just hope that i'm not too late

Post By Lee (Entry 3)

Heya Girlies,
Delhi’s weather has been scorching lately so I’ve been stuck at home L.So apart from spending my time by haunting the beauty blogs(hee hee) it gave me time to practice my “Konadicure” skills.

I’ve been crazy about nail art since I was a teen but nail art for me consisted of dotting my nails or neon colored tips. So I used to get my nails done from my professional Nail Artist (yeah that’s what I call them :p) but bi-weekly trips were burning a hole in my pocket ..err I mean in my mother’s pocket ..um or purse or whatever. So I finally decided to take the plunge and get myself on the KONAD nail art bandwagon and bought myself their T SET

Price: Rs 900 (I got it for Rs 630 from Healthkart)

The T SET contains:
  • 1 Image Plate (m 36)
  • 1 Scraper
  • 1 Stamper
  • 2 KONAD Special Nail Polish (Black and White)
  • 1 KONAD Top Coat

INSTRUCTIONS (from the packaging)
  1. Apply base coat or regular polish to nail(I’ve applied Colorbar’s “Exclusive 44”as my base coat).
  2. Apply KONAD Special Nail Polish to the desired image within a plate.
  3. Make the scraper leaned over 45 degrees and scrape excessive polish off QUICKLY and strongly.
  4. Quickly press the stamper onto the plate to pick up the design.
  5. Stamp the image onto your nail with a gentle rolling motion or just press down and lift up immediately.
  6. For lasting wear, apply top coat slightly and quickly

My Experience:
The set comes in a cute pink packaging which is very attractive(cmon its pink!) and easy to carry. At first the instructions did sound a bit complicated to me but I actually found it quite easy to do. You just have to be a bit quick so make sure you have the stamper and scraper nearby at all times. The only real problem I have is with this particular image plate, The designs are very delicate for a beginner and I’ve had a hard time with perfectly placing the design on the nail.

Tips :-
  • Work on a table with paper underneath as it tends to get messy.
  • Do NOT work under a running fan or AC otherwise the nail polish will dry up too quickly for you to pick up.
  • The scratcher provided has a  blade underneath which leads to scratches on the image plate so instead of using the scratcher use any expired credit/debit/ATM card.
  • Use a cheap nail polish remover since it requires a huge quantity.
  • After doing each nail wipe the image plate and scraper with the remover using a pair of tweezers to hold the cotton ball .This way the design wouldn’t get messed up. Wipe the stamper if there is any residue of the design.
  • First try practicing with your old nail polishes on paper to get the hang of it so as to not waste the special polishes which are quite costly.
  • Buy the whole set instead of buying the special polishes, image plate, scraper and stamper separately as this will be more economical.
  • Let the design COMPLETELY dry before applying the top coat otherwise the design will get streaked. Use KONAD top coat since other branded top coats do lead to streaking of the design.
  • My most important tip-While applying the special nail polish on the plate instead of putting the brush back in bottle just put it aside on the paper. Ive noticed I waste quite some time while putting the brush carefully back into the bottle since it does have a small opening.

PROs :-
  • Get professionally done nails in the comfort of your home and at a fraction of the price when compared to a nail bar.
  • Easy to use albeit after a bit of practice.
  • Loads and loads of design to choose from.
  • This particular set has two basic colors which are mostly required.

CONs :-
  • Its not easily available even in major cities. Though most of the online sites do stock it and give major discounts but it will be a major con for someone who doesn't like shopping online.
  • The special polishes are very expensive.
  • The scraper leaves marks on the image plate.
  • The image plate has very delicate outlined designs so they don’t show up prominently and they are harder to stamp as compared to full nail image designs.

If you’re like me who loves nail art but can’t do anything more than dotting or simple designs then I’ll highly recommend this to you. It does sound a bit complicated at first but once you get the hang of it,you’ll find it very easy and not so time consuming. Do buy it online since most sites offer good discounts on it.

Hi all ....
Today I’m going to review a product from Avon and it Avon Foot Cream for cracked heels.I hate summers and I have a list of reasons for it. Every year I face many problems in summer season like tanning, pimples, prickly heat and cracked heels. Like every summers, this time too I’m facing crack heel problem. I have tried many foot creams but they didn’t worked well. When I saw this foot cream in Avon’s brochure and decided to try it. Luckily it worked and I’m continuously using it for the past 2 years.

My Friend was Avon’s rep. and I bought this cream from her, but few days ago I saw some of Avon products on www.stylecraze.com , i think it was on community sale.

Here is the product:-

This cream is 50 ml in quantity and costs Rs. 79 INR. Currently its 100ml packing is available for Rs. 189 INR.

There are many reasons of cracked heels like:-
  • Cold winter weather.
  • Dehydration, or not drinking enough water.
  • Not regularly caring and moisturizing your feet.
  • Taking very hot baths or showers.
  • Soaking in a hot bath for too long or too frequently.
  • Using harsh, drying soaps on your feet.
  • Scrubbing feet dry.
  • Having diabetes.

Heel fissures and cracks occur when the skin loses its moisture content and dries out and cracks. In summers the human body looses most of its moisture and can cause cracked heels.

Let’s talk about the cures of cracked heels. Moisturizing cream and various good foot cream can help you to get rid of cracked heels. Avon’s foot cream for cracked heels gives results in just 3 to 4 days. Shocking but it’s true. This cream really work.

Here is its swatch:-

This cream claims to restore cracked skin to its normal healthy state, transforming rough skin to smooth and supple. It also contains 24 hour plus moisturization. For best results use this cream 3-4 times daily.
Wash your feet and apply this cream on wet heels.

Ingredients:-

WATER, ISOPROPYL PALMTATE, STEARYL ALOCOHOL, CETYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERYL STEARATE  SE, UREA, DIMETHICONE, CANOLA OIL, TRIETHANOLAMINE, POLYSORBATE 80, BENZYL ALCOHOL, LACTIC ACID, ALLANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, BENZALKONIUM CHLORIDE, FRAGRANCE.

My Experience:-
So far this is only cream which has been successful in curing my cracked heels, therefore I recommend this product to every 1 who suffers cracked heels. If summers give me crack heels next year too, then i know what to use

Pros:-
  • Shows results in just 3-4 days.
  • Make heels smooth and soft.
  • Affordable.
  • Easy to apply.
  • According to me this is the only cream which can treat crack heels.

Cons:-
  • I don’t think this cream have any cons.

If you are suffering from cracked heels like me then go for this cream. It is the best cream treat cracked heels.

God Bless.....cya ...

Hello MMP-ians
Today I'm back with another Colorbar product. I’ll be reviewing one of my first and favourite eyeshadow from the Colorbar brand-Really Rose

Product Claims
The eyeshadow is a pigmented powder that gives the eyes a shine and pearl like effect. Ultra fine in texture,it is easy to blend while its moisturizing agent keeps your eyelids soft and smooth. The product is long lasting and fade  resistant

Price: Rs 300 for 3gms ( I got it for rs. 225 last January)
Best before 3 yrs of manufacturing

Really Rose-It is a bright baby pink eyeshadow with a pearl finish. It has fine whitish silver shimmer which doesn't look glittery or OTT

The eye shadow comes in a cute silver packaging with a transparent lid so its easy to locate the shade in your vanity box/bag. The packaging has two compartments. The top compartment contains the eyeshadow and the lower compartment has a small round mirror and a curved sponge applicator. The applicator is so-so but its far better than Lakme’s and Chambor’s applicator. For this EOTD I have applied the E/S usuing the applicator provided and as you can see it turned out well.

Coming back to the product I must say it’s a high quality product and I absolutely love it. The texture is very silky and it literally glides on your eyes. The eyeshadow is highly pigmented and you do not need a primer to bring out the colour. Even though it is a powder eyeshadow it gives a creamy finish which I absolutely love. I was new to eye makeup when I bought this product but I had no difficulties in blending it so its very easy to blend and has a very nice sheen. I faced minimum fallout during application.

And now coming to its best part-The staying power. It easily lasts for 6-7 hrs without fading or getting patchy WITHOUT  a primer!!!

Really Rose on entire Lid, and expensive pink in crease

PROs :-
  •  It is a very soft and smooth texture
  • A soft Shimmery finish and gives a nice sheen instead of lookin too “glittery”
  • Easy to blend
  • Minimum fallout (Im still a novice so im sure PROs like our dear upsi wouldn’t experience it at all)
  • Easy to carry and the applicator is good for touch-ups
  • Fabulous staying power
  • A very close dupe of Mac Swish and Inglot Pearl 431

CONs :- (I had to think really hard to find a con)
  •  The applicator is tiny and too curved

This was my first Colorbar product and it made me fall in love with the brand. The Colorbar Eyeshadows are of very good quality and I will highly recommend everybody to give it a try

Hi all !!
Today i'd be reviewing a moisturiser from Young Discover Youthopia, and it is their Mango Butter Moisturizer. I can't stop from complaining that over past 2months my skin has turned horribly dry, and almost unstable and moody and more unpredictable, and specially the area around my nose and my chin is so dry and almost brittle that if kept bare the skin might crack and bleed. So what has been my best companion to keep up the dryness at bay ? Read on to know how this one helped me out..

Claims :-
Mango butter has healing and regenerative properties, it will also protect your skin from harmful sun damage.  The skin softening and nourishing properties of certified organic clarified butter (cow ghee) and aloe leaf juice combined with the protective nature of kokum butter (garcinia indica) keep the skin hydrated all day long. Orange essential oil is known to detoxify the skin and support collagen formation which is essential for young and healthy looking skin. Its sweet aroma also creates the feeling of happiness and warmth. Apply regularly to clear blemishes and wrinkles.

Price :- INR 250/-
Quantity : 50ml
Shelf Life :- 3yrs

Ingredients :-
certified organic clarified butter (cow ghee), kokum butter (garcinia indica), mango butter, aloe leaf juice and orange essentail oil
* Free from Parabens, Silicones, PEG, Synthetic colours and fragrances.

Application :-
Wash your face and neck region, pat it dry and apply gently. Apply regularly to clear blemishes and wrinkles.

This moisturiser comes in a round plastic tub, which is off white in color. The color of it is off white again, and the texture is very creamy yet light. I, on the other hand always hate any tub packaging, because its not hygienic and convenient + not at all travel friendly. Anyhow, i love how this moisturiser gets absorbed into the skin super fast, and leaves a healthy skin. It has an over powering orange oil fragrance as mentioned, but its just too sweet that you can't ignore it, also it faints off in a an hour so. Personally i love its fragrance, because i would not have liked to smell like a mango (if it had been a mango fragrance)

Now comes the best thing, if you have dry skin, which is prone to cracking, and if you're tired of applying moisturisers with chemicals in it because it stings, then you must try this one. I have been using it as a medicine on the driest area on my face, as i told you that skin around nose and chin is too dry that i can't apply anything else on it and cant even leave it bare. I apply a thick layer of this moisturiser around my nose and chin and leave it like that to get absorbed on its own (i know it sounds weird, but what else is one supposed to do when nothing else works ), and it hydrates my brittle and sensitive skin all day long without any stinging. Also i want to share the experience of my 2yrs old niece, whose feet's skin was dry and hard, yea she's roams around the house bare feet, and i even used this on her, and the skin was soft within the regular use of 2-3 days.

Left- Unblended, Center- Blended, Right- After Blending
Overall its a pricey moisturiser just for 50ml, but considering the fact if my skin continues to stay cranky and dry, i will buy it again. I love how it gets absorbed into the skin, without looking or feeling greasy, and the fragrance stays on for 1-2hrs.

Have you used This moisturiser ??  What do you use to treat extra dry and sensitive skin ??

Godbless !!

P.S : Product Sent by the brand for consideration, however it hasn't affected my opinion.
