Hello readers......Today I’m going to review Avon’s simply pretty nail paint and I’ll share a nail art which I accidently did while painting my nails.

For the past one year I’m very fond of long nail, nail paints and nail art. I’m not an artist and even don’t have any tools to do a perfect nail art. But I only use 2 or 3 nail paints to do some sort of nail art and thankfully it don’t look bad. When I was pursuing graduation I never grew my nails and never paint them. I never liked painting my nails. But when I met Upasana and saw her makeup capabilities I was actually moved and thought of giving a try. Well she is an artist and to me she is a professional and is perfect in her work, but yes it is a fact I grew my nails after seeing her beautiful nails. I have only 5 nail paints including top and bottom base coat. I keep experimenting with colors and end up with some really good nail art (I mean to mee it is really good).

Here is my simple nail art:-

Firstly I started with simple pink shade nail paint. The shade name was pink wine. But one day I saw Upasana wearing bright red nail paint so thought of giving it a try. I applied it and my hands looked beautiful.

Here is a picture :-

In this picture I’m wearing cherry red shade from Avon’s simply pretty nail enamels. This is a bright red color which suits every skin tone. I just loved this color. I also have a Passionate purple shade from this range. I bought the 2 shades from an Avon’s representative for just Rs. 100 INR. In this month’s offer Avon is giving 3 shades of nails paints for just Rs. 129 INR.
Here are its shades available: -

Firstly I started using light shade and then I tried bright shade. I actually love my long nails now. I’m now very fond of using different bright and light nails paints. Talking about these nail paints, they claims to provide excellent covering power and has intensive color effect.
I love this range. This beautiful cherry red shade makes my hand looks fairer. I’m using it for the past 2 months. I wear it casually and I just love it.

It’s been 2 months now that I’m using this color and it has started to dry up in the bottle. Honestly this is a big disadvantage of this range, they dry up very soon.

Tips for doing the nail art by using 2 nail paints: -
  • Apply the base coat.
  • Apply 2 coats of Cherry red color.
  • Then use white nail paint and just touch the nails with the brush leaving a dot on the nail. Now make a flower pattern by using dots with the white nail paint.
  • Apply top base coat to give shine and here is the simple and beautiful nail art.

Here is the top and bottom base coat which I used: -

And here is the collective pic of items which I’ve used: -

I’ve used top and bottom base coat from Elle 18 color bust range. I’ve used the white nail paint from the same brand.
My experience with the simply pretty range: -
  • I’ve never ever thought of using such bright color, but when I used it, I was totally satisfied and happy because this red shade instantly brightened up the hands.
  • This nail paint gives a very beautiful red shade leaving your nails shiny.
  • This nail paint is thin in texture, so it is easy to apply and it dries up quickly.

Pros:-
  • It gives a shine to the nails.
  • Very beautiful red color, which suits almost every skin tone.
  • This particular shade actually makes my hands to look beautiful.
  • It is economical.

Cons: -
  • It dries up faster,  So it won’t last for long time.
  • The true color appears only after applying 2 coats or more.

I hope you liked my simple nail art. Have you tried this range???
God Bless.....cya...
