Review : Oriflame Daily Hand Cream

Hi all !
Today i'd be reviewing a hand cream by Oriflame, which is probably my first hand cream. I was never a hand cream person, maybe because i was never into household works, that kind of justifies and gives another reason to use hand creams. But lately i have been taking care of house, and at times i have been working like a maid *sob* , so my hands are suffering from dryness, and flaking of skin (almost like snake skin).

I don't remember when i bought it  maybe in February or march.. anyways whatever

Claims :-
Ideal for when you’re on the move, an effective hand cream with moisturising, conditioning Glycerin and softening, protecting Sweet Almond Oil. Compact and easy to take with you, absorbs quickly and gives lasting hydration.
Quantity : 50 ml.
Price : INR 149/- (offer price i don't remember )

Ingredients :-

The packaging is very simple and neat and not much flashy ! The white body with green cap gives a soothing feeling.. + it is travel friendly and you can easily slip it into your bag  The graphics ain't that convincing, i mean its alright but you can hardly see the ingredients list because they 're really really tiny, but thankfully they have mentioned the ingredients unlike the oriflame Lip tint which had no ingredients list.

Swatch :-

The cream is very very light in consistency and is li'l runny, i.e. it tends to sort of melt when it comes in contact with the skin, and gets easily absorbed. The fragrance is very mild, and one can easily detect sweet almond oil, and the fragrance vanishes after sometime. My only concern while buying a hand cream was that my hands were getting horribly dry (p.s :- my hands are a subject exposed to harsh sun as i drive (activa & car), i work in kitchen 3 times a day, wash clothes and blah blah  ---- not normal for a post graduate student i know but still have to manage because of ongoing situations  yeah i don't want to sound like a drama queen. but i have to tell you because my hands were getting ignored and the result ended up with search of  a nice hand cream) and my skin was peeling almost every 2nd day, so i wanted something thick and moisturising. Because at times this cream didn't help much with the hydration, i literally wanted to put on gallons of oil on my hands and massage.

What i like about it :-
  • A nice light weight hand cream with a soothing fragrance
  • Non-greasy
  • Gets easily absorbed into skin
  • Perfect for summer use since its not much thick and greasy
  • Easy compact packaging that can be put into bag and used often

What i don't like about it :-
  • Not much thick for excessive dry hands, or hands looking out for some immediate "moisturizing" treatment (like mine )
  • Expensive if not bought during offers
  • Not easily available; can be purchased through Oriflame representatives

These days i'm using this cream along with Nivea Hydrating body lotion, and the results are good, but not great. I would review the body lotion soon.
Which is your favorite Hand cream ?? Also please share which hand creams worked or didn't work for you ??

Godbless !!

  8. I'm too not in to much household work but I buy hands cream for my Mom. She has very dry and flaky hands so I always bought Milk and honey cream from this brand for her and she likes this too. I've never bought any other hand creamyet so next time I'll surely get this one for her, hope she likes this one too :)
