Inglot V/s MAC : Inglot Blush No.27 & MAC Desert Rose Blush

Hi all !!
A few days ago i reviewed my latest love from Inglot, i.e Freedom System Blush no.27 (read review HERE). While reviewing it, i did realize that its almost similar to my other love, MAC Desert Rose Blush LOL (read review HERE). I thought to compile both the shades, so that you guys get an imminent idea of how similar or different these two blushes are.

Don't They look quite similar ???? or say Twins ?? Let's see how they are comparable..

MAC Desert Rose Blush :-

  • Price : Rs. 1,150/-
  • Quantity : 6gms
  • Shelf life : 3yrs

INGLOT Freedom System Blush no.27 :-
  • Price : INR 350/- (I got it for Rs.280/- )
  • Quantity : 7gms
  • Shelf Life : 3yrs

Swatches :-

  • Shade wise, both the blushes look twins in the pan, but once applied they adjust themselves accordingly. Blush no.27 definitely qualifies to be called a dupe of MAC desert rose blush, although Desert Rose is a dirty muddy pink, whereas blush no.27 is a mix of pink and peach.
  • Both the shades will suit most of the complexion, since they are matte (blush no.27 seems like having a bit of shimmer, but thats only in the pan, as on application there are no visible shimmers).
  • Inglot Blush no.27 will suit fair-medium skin tones best, whereas D.R will suit most of the complexions, but will compliment Indian skin tone the BEST !! Undoubtedly one can buy D.R as their 1st MAC blush.
  • Price wise, both have a huge difference !! Inglot Blush pots cost INR 720/- (check here) , whereas MAC blush pot costs INR 1,150/-
  • I have a refill pan of Inglot Blush, therefore i saved a lot of money (INR 800/- if compared with MAC blush, and INR 370/- if compared with inglot's regular blush pots). I hope my maths is convincing lol
  • Texture wise, both glide on easily like butter. But, no.27 is soft, that there is some fall out. MAC D.R is also easy to blend.
  • The staying power of both the blush is around 6-7hrs, mostly depends on what kind of environment you're exposed to, and what makeup you've done. With proper makeup, they will last for more than 7hrs. On me, they start to fade after 6-7hrs, and leave an even flush on my face, without looking patchy or jagged.

If you ask me whats the difference between the both brands, i would say that Inglot is my New MAC !! Why ?? ok let me sum it up for you all..
  • MAC is not easily available in India , one can only purchase it from MAC Stores, and not every city of India has a MAC Store.
  • Even Inglot is not easily available in India, there are very few Inglot stores in India. But to compensate that, we have an online shopping website, that gives the pleasure of indulging in Inglot shopping, i'm talking about www.shopatmajorbrands.com
  • Both Inglot & MAC provides refill systems, but i'm now more en route for Inglot simply because i can get it online.
  • One can easily get 'n' numbers of finishes and dupes of MAC in Inglot i believe. (although i don't claim so, because i haven't shopped much from both the brands)

Hope this post has been helpful
Godbless !!
