I’ve been fascinated with Dead Sea products ever since I’ve read about the uses of The Dead Sea mud and salt online.

Directions : Apply a gentle layer of the mud mask all over your face and neck and leave for 15 – 20 minutes or until it dries up. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. For optimum results, use the mask once or twice every week.



My experience:
I love this mud mask. It comes in a plastic tube type bottle with a very small hole. Since it’s a mask and that too a mud mask one needs to apply a lot of pressure on the tube to get the product out. And since the bottle is not transparent, there is no indication of how much product is left. The mask is black in colour and has a very mild muddy fragrance, the kind of smell we get when rain water mixes with mud. And I love that smell. The mask is smooth not granular therefore is gentle on the skin. It’s not runny or extremely thick and therefore spreads easily. It dries up nicely and quickly without any flaking or chipping which I love the most. I wash it off with wet finger-tips rubbing in circular motions. It easily rinses off and no residue is left on the skin. It leaves my skin extremely soft and clean. The skin looks radiant and hydrated. The main plus point of this mask is it doesn’t make my skin dry at all and also effectively deep cleans the pores and the greasiness of the skin.



Pros-
  • Gently exfoliates & conditions.
  • Removes the dull, dead outer layer of skin. 
  • Smoothes & refines rough areas.
  • Leaves skin looking clearer and younger.
  • Highly enriched with Dead Sea  minerals. 
  • Scrubs the skin effectively.
  • Makes skin soft and smooth.
  • Very pleasant smell.
  • Rinses off easily.
  • Not harsh on skin.
  • Suitable for all skin types


Cons-
  • Availability can be an issue since I’ve seen it only on urbantouch.com and jabong.com

Conclusion : I love this mask. It does what it claims and definitely worth re-purchasing. It’s a power pack of all the minerals that our skin needs to look good . What else can one ask for

Hello readers....I’m here to review an Avon’s product again.  I’m not a very big fan of Avon but I use some of its product because some of them are cheap in price and good in quality.

Well this time before I start the review I would like to share some information about Avon beauty Product Company, as we must be aware of the Brand we are using.

Avon Products is a U.S. based, personal care manufacturer and seller company in over 140 countries across the world. Avon had annual sales of $10.8 billion worldwide as of 2010. It is the fifth-largest beauty company and largest direct selling enterprise in the world, with 6.4 million representatives.
Avon Product is a multi-level marketing company. The company's CEO is Sherilyn S. McCoy, who was appointed to that position in April 2012.The former CEO, Andrea Jung, became the executive chairman of the board. Jung was the longest tenured female CEO among Fortune 500 companies.
Avon uses both door-to-door sales people ("Avon ladies," primarily and a growing number of men) and brochures to advertise its products. (Source Wikipedia.com)
Coming back to product, this is Avon simply pretty’s new range of lip gloss. They are so cute in shape and application that I have fallen in love with this gloss. 


This lip gloss comes in such a cute packing. It has a round base and long tip applicator. It is similar to Elle 18 nail pop nail paint bottle.  I just love lip glosses so it was obvious to try this lip gloss too. I have its Grape shine shade.



There are 4 shades available. And these are:-



Have you noticed that all these shades are of some fruits flavour? This makes them more tempting. As their flavour they do taste like fruit. 
Talking about its looks, I have already said it has a round base and long tip. It has a short and stout doe-foot shaped applicator with a long tip.



After looking at it first I actually thought that it looks like a lolly pop Lol. But it really has cool, cute and eye catching looks. It is very pretty in shade too. Here is its swatch: -




My experience:-
  • It gives a flawless shine to lips.
  • It can be applied on lipstick.
  • Sheer color.
  • It taste like grapes and has a fruity fragrance.

Pros :-
  • Very good product. It gives a very beautiful shine to the lips.
  • It looks so cute, a packaging diverse from the rest, something that girls will like to buy.
  • All the shades are beautiful.
  • It is not at all sticky and actually works like lip gloss. (well most of Avon’s lips gloss are very sticky).
  • It has a fruity fragrance, so its smell does not bother at all.

Cons :-
  • After thinking hard, I only come up with a disadvantage of it that, it won’t last for more than 3 months (shelf life).

This tiny bottle contains 7ml of lip gloss. It costs Rs. 215 INR. As we all know Avon’s product are available only through their representatives.

Hope u all are doing well… With the onset of monsoon it’s become even a tad more necessary to take care of our skin. Following the CTM routine is ever so important in this rainy climate. So today I am going to review one of my favourite toners. It’s the Vedic Line Green Apple Toner.

Packaging: Comes in a transparent bottle with a sturdy flip cap. The cap is pretty sturdy so you wouldn’t face any problem of leakages during travelling.



My experience :-
I just love this toner. It has such a refreshing smell. I love green apple so it was no surprise that I was attracted to this product instantly. Since we all know that green apple is rich in anti-oxidants, this is one toner I had to try and I am glad I did. The toner as stated on the bottle is not brilliant blue but a shade of dark green. The main reason I bought this was because I was suffering from dark black patches around my lips because of dryness. So I had purchased this toner along with their lychee cleanser. I will review the cleanser some other day.  I’ve used this product for a month now and my skin texture has improved considerably. I have oily skin and due to change in weather my skin becomes flaky and dry especially around my lips. But ever since I have started using this, I haven’t faced any problem whatsoever. I didn’t face any break outs. In fact my skin looked less oily with its regular use. It definitely cleared up the blemishes.



Pros:
  • It’s cheap and you get ample quantity to use.
  • No parabens or alcohol yay !!
  • Refreshing smell.
  • Clears up blemishes with regular use.

Cons:
  • I wish it gave a cooling, tingling sensation to the skin.



Conclusion: Definitely worth purchasing. I am excited to try more products from their range.

My experience with Lakme Sun Expert Fairness UV Lotion with SPF 24/PA++:
This product is suitable for all skin types and I have a normal skin so I thought that I will work for me. I’ve been using this product from past 1 month  and it protects my skin when sun exposure is limited to the skin. It is a light feel sunscreen but takes time to absorb completely and also leaves little greasiness feel on the skin when applied it in large amount. It also leaves light white cast on the skin. Lakme also claims that it is also a fairness lotion, but till now I haven’t noticed any signs of fairness or change in my skin tone.



Pros of Lakme Sun Expert Fairness UV Lotion with SPF 24/PA++:
  • Its protects you from harmful effects of the sun and also makes the skin lighter with regular use.
  • Offers a complete range from SPF 24, 30, 50 and PA+, PA++ and PA+++.
  • When used in small quantity it doesn't leave greasiness on skin.
  • SPF fights against UVB rays that cause sunburn. It’s a broad-spectrum sunscreen (contains both SPF 24 and Pa++).
  • Suitable for all skin type.
  • PA+++ blocks out UVA rays that cause tanning, premature aging, sun spots and pigmentation.


Cons of Lakme Sun Expert Fairness UV Lotion with SPF 24/PA++:
  • May not be suitable for those who have a very dry skin, they definitely also have to apply moisturizing lotion first.
  • It does not make you look fairer, nothing do to with fairness.
  • It may leave the greasiness on oily skin people.




Final Verdict and recommendation:
Overall it is a good product when you do not have to stay in a sun for a long time or exposure is limited. As claimed by Lakme it doesn't seems to make your skin look fairer and leaves some greasiness when applied in excess. There are products available in market which provides similar benefits and also does not leaves greasiness or white cast, so we would rate it 2.5/5.. And I like my Vaseline Healthy White More ..

Recently getting bored of using shower gel and shower cream…i prefer to switch to a soap for some days…thus search for a nice soap having sweet smell that will lingers...my search came to an end when i found Khadi lavender soap…



Frankly speaking the packing of soap at first doesn't impress me much. Simple plastic cover showing the color and nature of the soap…





But the time i smell the scent of lavender my all dissatisfaction gone...simply Awesome !! It is purple-blue color soap. Little look like pears glycerin soap. It smells nice, makes up nice lather and the most important thing it doesn't melts away like other soap do, such as Lux (i know it is not fair to compare this soap with lux…but trying to give you a clear idea of the soap).


Price: Rs.50/- for 125 gms .but brought in discount at Rs.45/-
Self-life: 2 years.
Easily available in style craze.com, healthkart.com, urban touch.com...i bought it from urban touch.com


I am using this soap from past 18 days and i hope it will lasts for next 10-15days..






Now what the Product claims:
The natural antiseptic and antibacterial propene of the Khadi Lavender soap will leave your skin silky smooth. 


Key ingredients: Ingredients: RoseWater, Flower Oil, Glycerine, LavenderOil, Vegetables Oils.


The Pros :-

  • It has a sweet smell.
  • The soap works up nice lather.
  • It melts less than other soap.
  • Price is cheap.
  • Easily available in any website...
  • It will lasts at least 25 days (if use once a day ).

The Cons :-

  • The packing is not impressive.
  • The smell doesn't last long.
My ratings: 4 out of 5 as the smell doesn't last long...


My recommendation: as you can see that my problem is the smell and packing otherwise it is the soap that definitely worth a try! So my recommendation is yes...
