Hi all !!
Today i'd be reviewing Dove Deep Pure Face wash. I bought it out of curiosity as i wanted to take a break from my HG face wash (i still love you Himalaya's Neem Face Wash). As soon as i read "Deep Pure" my hands itched to buy it. Hence after using it for more than 4 weeks, now is the time to review it. Presenting to you Dove Deep Pure Face Wash !!

Price : INR 70/-
Quantity : 50gms
Claims :-

It comes in a tube type packaging, with a white body and blue graphics. The cap is quite good, and the face wash can be used for travelling too. Dove claims of some micro-puff technology that has fine & fluffy exfoliants which cleans dirt and grime from skin and cleans off excess sebum from skin.

Ingredients :-

The face wash reminds me of Pond's Daily Face Wash (read my review here on Wiseshe) in terms of everything like packaging, fragrance, formula etc, almost everything , maybe particularly because both are Marketed by Hindustan Unilever Limited. Pond's face wash is however dirt cheap as compared to Dove.

The texture of the face wash is white creamy and thick. It lathers very well , and gives a squeaky clean feel , and it gets easily rinsed off !!

I have combi skin, which is prone to breaking out with the onset of summers, so i thought this will balance my skin, although it dries skin, and kind of gives a feel of "translucent" skin, but that doesn't stays for a longer time. Also once my skin gets dried, it comes back to its "oily" segment.

What i like about it :-

  • Affordable face wash that cleans skin effectively.
  • Perfect for oily beauties, best to be used in summers.
  • Nice fragrance.
  • 50gms of products easily last more than 2months (depends on usage too).
  • Affordable price & Easily available.
  • Effectively removes most of the makeup. Still i will recommend to use your makeup remover first.

What i don't like about it :-
  • It's a devil for oily and dry skin beauties especially in Winters !!
  • Ofcourse not suitable for dry skin.
  • Doesn't helps much for pimples, or open pores.

Overall its an average face wash, nothing magical about it, but i would say if you really want to try this face wash, you can try Pond's Daily Face Wash (with green packaging) because it is exactly same, although cheap in price. Have you changed your face wash lately ? Which is your Current Face Wash ?

Godbless !!

Hi all !!
I wanted to do a little Tag Post.. and above all i wanted to share with all the makeup stuff i have collected over past few months. I don't own a giant stash nor do i hoard stuff, but i wanted to do this post as i wanted to know your opinion on how can i improve my stash in terms of STORAGE ! So This is all i have got :-

It includes all my makeup stuff, and my skincare stuff that i use  So before showing you all my belongings, i would like to state a few "rules" :-
  • Every person getting tagged has to show the makeup they own, it doesn't matters if you own a few or hoard a lot. The main motive is to share storage ideas.
  • The person getting tag can tag a minimum of 3 fellow bloggers, and max as they wish
  • You have to show "All" makeup stuff you've got.. no hide-n-seek allowed
  • Don't forget to mention how do you store your products.
  • Last but not the least, you can include your skin care products too if you want.

All in all i have 6 boxes and 1 vanity box in which i keep my products. All these are securely placed inside my closet.

1. Eye Makeup stuff :- In a small rectangular box (approximately a tiffin's size) i store all my loose eye makeup stuff for e.g. single e/s, small e/s palettes, primers, gel eyeliners etc. This helps me in finding out the required material easily because its not mixed with dozens of other things since  i know what stuff lays here.

2. Face Section :- In this box (the famous urbantouch's black box ) i keep all my face makeup for e.g foundation, B.B creams, blush's, compacts, concealers etc.

 3. Skin Care Section :-  All my skin care and body care stuff is stored in one of the huge b.b i ever had. It contains body lotions, sunscreens, toners, astringents, skin treatment stuff, face packs etc.

4. LipS Section :- Now the lip section is by far the smallest unit i have , just a couple of lip sticks, lip balms, lip glosses... i have used "few things" to act as a barrier, i know you can guess

5. Nail Section :- Now this is something i'm not proud of .. i hardly am a nail paint person. So just a small section for a few local n.p's and removers i have and other nail art related stuff.

6. Eyeshadow Palettes Section :- Now this is one big thing in my closet. I have kept a vanity box solely dedicated to big eyeshadow palettes i have. Along with the palettes, i also have thrown in random makeup related stuff which i don't use daily.

7. Oh and i forgot to show you that i have kept all my eye pencils and mascara's like this

All my stuff is basically categorized with regards of usage. With this i end my makeup show-off  and now i tag Deepika of Divassence, Erica of PurplesnPinks and Rekha of Glitter & Gorgeous.. show all your stuff ladies !! Hope you enjoy this tag post (no intention of making someone feel bad for having or not having enough stuff.. its all about sharing the storage ideas)

Godbless !!

Hi all !!
Today i'd be reviewing another addition to my lip balms, and that is Maybelline Lip Smooth color Bloom in shade Pink Blossom. I was regretting because i couldn't buy Maybelline Smooth lip color and care , so i splurged and bought this lip balm from UrbanTouch here

Price : INR 99/-
Quantity : 1.7gms
Shelf Life : 3yrs

It comes packed inside a cardboard packaging with all the details. The lip balm's packaging is quite sturdy, and is slim & slender in shape.

Claims & Ingredients :-

The lip balm is creamy white in color, which changes color in 3-4 seconds after contact with lips. It provides sheer lip color, and is moisturizing but not much. The color is build-able and on my pigmented lips it tends to go dark cherry in color if i layer it in order to provide some moisture to my lips , so i can say that it is a lipstick in form of balm !

Swatch :-

On girls with less pigmented lips, it might turn out as a pretty pink and more of Fuchsia pink, but on my pigmented lips its more of a berry shade with a decent tint. The "tint" doesn't settles into fine lines, and leaves a nice tint on my lips, more like a stain. I spotted one more shade in this range, i.e peach blossom.

What i like about it :-
  • Its super pretty shade and i just love the way it changes color !
  • Very sweet candyfloss kind of fragrance
  • Its not greasy or waxy !
  • Slender packaging ; a nice change from the rest of the balms i have.
  • For me it works in 2 ways, a lip balm and a lipstick .
  • Super affordable
  • Easily available online and in stores.
  • Has a shelf life of 3yrs which is good enough for the lip balms.
  • This will last me easily for a year besides i know i'll be using it on alternate days.

What i don't like about it :-
  • One can easily over paint the lips in order to provide moisturization to lips !
  • Doesn't hydrates lips for a longer time.
Have you tried this lip balm yet ?? Share in your thoughts !!

Godbless !

Hi all !!
Today i'd be reviewing Dove Nourishing Oil care repair mask that i purchased back in February. This is my 2nd hair mask, even my first hair mask was from dove but that was discontinued some time ago. I really wanted to try Matrix Biolage Hair mask, but its quite difficult to purchase them here, so on my trip to Big Bazaar i picked up this mask.

Price : INR 300/-
Quantity : 200ml
Shelf Life : 2yrs

Claims :-

The packaging of the hair mask is a bulky and kinda huge tub, although its sturdy and i believe one can easily pull it off while travelling. The shape is quite unique, but i know few product's caps having 'unique' shape which don't fit in properly. This one does fit in properly

How to use & Ingredients :-

I'm currently using Matrix Biolage Anti-Dandruff shampoo, read prabhjot's review here, and this hair mask and i must say that my hairs are loving the combination of both. The texture of the mask is almost buttery-creamy and it tends to melt into your hairs when you apply it. The fragrance is almost the same as that of most Dove hair care products

I just scoop out a bit of product and apply it on my clean hair from the middle of the length till the end and keep it on for 3-4mins. It is easy to apply and get easily absorbed into the hairs. I rinse my hairs once the time is up, and i do notice that it lathers a bit, but since i don't use it on scalp (who does it anyways ) it gets easily removed.

What i like about it :-
  • My hairs are really manageable and soft.
  • The regular usage of hair mask (i use it every time i wash my hairs, and i wash 2-3 times a week) has given my hairs quite a shine to them. They look more lively and full of life.
  • The fragrance stays for a few hours and then vanishes.
  • I've been using this mask for more than a month and it looks like i've been using it sparingly. Therefore this mask might last me for more than 3 months easily despite using it with every head wash.
  • Easily available online and on stores as well.

What i don't like about it :-
  • It takes bit of time to get properly washed out of my hairs, but good thing is that it lathers so i know that my hairs are free of hair mask once all the lather is rinsed.

Overall its a very decent hair mask which i'm loving a lot since only a few  hair products suit me, and this one suits me  Have you used Dove Nourishing Oil Care range ?? Which is your favorite hair mask ??

Oh and btw share in your thoughts about the pictures, i've been working to improve my photography skills

Godbless !!

Hi all !!
Today i'd be reviewing another shower gel that i used in past two months, it is Aroma Magic Citrus Shower Gel. Sorry for being MIA for last few days, but lately i've been feeling a li'l disoriented, but i promise to be stable from this week lol :D

I have used it thoroughly on and off for past 2 months and now is the time to review it

Price : INR 75/-
Quantity : 120ml

Claims & Ingredients :-

The packaging is a sturdy white plastic body, with a red flip-top cap (which is too tight, that one can break it easily in order to open the cap). Almost all the details are listed on the bottle.

The texture of the shower gel is gel like and it lathers really well with the help of loofah. The shower gel is yellow and transparent kind.

What i like about it :-
  • It lathers really very well !! Only 3-4 drops are sufficient for the whole body
  • The fragrance is particularly citrusy but not too strong, although i love it because i can feel a faint presence of fresh rose buds fragrance.
  • It's quite refreshing ad calming to senses.
  • Affordable and easily available
  • Quantity is quite good, and has easily lasted me more than 2 months.

What i don't like about it :-
  • It doesn't gives a squeaky clean feeling, you have to massage your skin to ensure that your skin is free of gel now.
  • As far as skin lightening claim is concerned, i haven't noticed anything big.
  • The fragrance really doesn't lasts after the bath and even though i have combi skin i felt the need of moisturizing my skin.

Have you used Aroma Magic Citrus Shower Gel ??

Godbless !!
