Hi everyone. This is the review of the Vedic Line Hair Retarder.

What the Company Claims : Natural Plant Derivatives in a very special absorption base, that softens, thins and eventually slows down the regrowth of hair. The hair becomes finer and growth slows no matter what method you use to remove hair. This is not a magic wand: effects are clear but gradual. Can be used anywhere on the body by both men and women. Used twice daily, this treatment does not put the hair follicle at risk. A safe way to smooth your whole body of unwanted hair.

Price : 300INR for 50ml
Availability : Available at online sites
Expiry : 3 yrs from mfg date

My experience : The product comes in tub packaging. The container is a transparent plastic type of material which honestly I feel is not at all sturdy. The lid has already cracked a little on one side. The cream is white in colour and thick in consistency. It spreads easily onto the skin without leaving any residue or sticky feeling. It has a nice sweet smell. I used it after waxing on my arms and legs and I must say the PRODUCT WORKS !!! It takes time, but it definitely gives you the results. There are no more ingrowths, and the new hair is smooth and fine and not at all rough and thick. Also the regrowth period is delayed. I am already on my 3th or 4thtub .

Pros-
  • Ayurvedic Product.
  • Does what it claims.
  • Sweet smell.
  • Gets absorbed easily.
  • Can be used anywhere on the body.
  • Small amount is required.

Cons-
  • Availability can be an issue.
  • Cheap quality container.
  • Too much of the product will give a greasy feeling

Conclusion: Finally a product that does what it claims. I am using a lot of vedic line products and they all seem to be living up to their claims. Definitely worth purchasing.

Hi everyone. Today I will be reviewing one of the best shampoo I have come across. It’s the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Repairing Shampoo.

What the Company Claims : 100% flawless, frizz-free hair from start to finish smoothens and repairs strands by helping to seal split ends and restore hair’s natural defence against frizz.
Reinforces distressed tresses and leaves them smooth, soft and highly manageable.Contains Frizz-Mending Complex + special silk protein.Frizz-Mending Complex weightlessly replenishes essential oils, the hair’s natural defence against frizz. Restoring this proper balance of moisture helps prevent frizz and blocks out humidity.Safe for colour-treated hair.

Price : 450INR for 295ml
Availability : Available at selective online sites
Expiry : 5yrs from Mfg
Directions : Apply shampoo to wet hair. Gently massage and work into a rich lather. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

My experience : I had the worst damaged hair because I straighten it every other day. The ends of my hair felt like straw and were extremely rough and dry. Since I started using John Frieda's Frizz ease shampoo and conditioner my hair did a total 360!!! It is now silky and smooth and manageable. It leaves my hair smelling amazing, and it keeps away the frizz. I have a normal healthy scalp with very mild hair fall problem. So my only concern was dry hair because of constant straightening. I purchased this from urbantouch.com about 2 months back. And I must say I love their products. The shampoo is pearly white in colour and has this amazing smell kind of like grapes. Produces a frothy lather and cleans hair extremely well. Its rinses of easily and gives a wonderful smell to the hair. I use this in combination with the John Frieda Frizz- Ease Smooth Start Repairing Conditioner and John Frieda Frizz Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum. When I use only the shampoo my hair is manageable and soft but that smoothness is missing which the conditioner provides.
Will review the conditioner and the serum in the next post.

Pros-
  • Cleans Thoroughly
  • Gentle
  • Great Smell
  • Lathers Well
  • Leaves hair silky smooth
  • Reduces frizz
  • Large quantity

Cons-
  • Availability is a major issue.
  • Expensive

Conclusion : It neutralizes static, frizz, and flyways without making hair feel heavy. And the scent is intoxicating but not overpowering. What more do we need from a shampoo. I simply love this shampoo and since I colored my hair Walnut Brown recently I just purchased their products from the Brunette Range. Loving those too….

Hi everyone. This is the review of the Kaya Hair Health Gel.

What the Company Claims : Rich in proteins and vitamin complex, Kaya Hair Health Gel reduces hair fall and promotes the growth of strong and lustrous hair. The mineral content reverses mineral deficiencies which cause hair fall. Herbal extracts of Gingko Biloba and hibiscus nourish the hair from within.

Price : 400INR for 200ml
Availability : Available at online sites
Expiry : 2 yrs from mfg date
Directions : Pour a small amount of the gel onto the palm of your hand. Apply the gel with fingertips only to the roots of yourhair. Lightly rub onto the scalp and leave overnight. Wash off next morning.

My experience : This is my first Kaya product. I was suffering from mild hair loss and thought to give this one a try. I purchased it from urbantouch.com for 360INR. The product comes in a pump type bottle with a lock mechanism that is seriously very confusing, at least to me. The product is a green colored gel which is very light and smells amazing. The product gets easily absorbed so it is better to apply it directly to the roots rather than taking it onto your hands as stated on the bottle. The gel provides a mild cooling sensation to the scalp which I enjoy. It’s easy to apply to the roots since it’s not sticky or thick in consistency. But yes the next morning, the gel does get sticky in your hair, but on shampooing it rinses off easily. Also a “small amount” is not enough. One needs to use quite a lot of the product to cover the entire scalp. Now for the claims, well it does reduce hair fall but nothing drastically. For someone suffering from severe hair fall this wouldn't work. And also I didn't see increase in the thickness of my hair.

Pros-
  • Pleasant Smell.
  • Very light textured product.
  • Provides a cooling sensation to the scalp.
  • Packed with proteins and vitamins.
  • Washes off easily.

Cons-
  • Does not live up to its claims.
  • Expensive.
  • Quite a lot of product needs to be used.

Conclusion : Wouldn’t recommend to people looking for solutions for severe hairfall. But someone looking to provide their scalp with proteins and vitamins may give this a try

Hi everyone this is the review of the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Repairing Conditioner.

What the Company Claims : 100% flawless, frizz-free hair from start to finish
Smoothes and repairs strands by helping to seal split ends and restore hair¿s natural defense against frizz.
Reinforces distressed tresses and leaves them smooth, soft and highly manageable.
Contains Frizz-Mending Complex + special silk protein that helps give added strength to damaged hair.
Frizz-Mending Complex weightlessly replenishes essential oils, the hair¿s natural defense against frizz. Restoring this proper balance of moisture helps prevent frizz and blocks out humidity.
Safe for color-treated hair.

Price : 450INR for 295ml
Availability : Available at selective online sites
Expiry : 5yrs from Mfg
Directions : After shampooing, squeeze out excess moisture. Apply conditioner and distribute evenly, from roots to ends. Rinse thoroughly.

My experience : I saw immediate results with this product. Like the shampoo, the conditioner also comes in an inverted flip cap tube. The packaging of the product is good and the cap fits tightly. The product is white in colour and is of thick consistency. The conditioner smells amazing just like the shampoo. It spreads easily onto the hair and also rinses off all. Like all the conditioners, avoid the scalp when applying this so as to avoid any greasy feeling to the hair. I apply it from the mid-lengths downwards, concentrating especially on the ends. This conditioner leaves my hair extremely smooth and soft. One has to be extra careful when rinsing this off as it tends to make the shower floor slippery.

Pros-
  • Great Smell
  • Leaves hair silky smooth
  • Reduces frizz
  • Large quantity
  • Rinses off easily

Cons-
  • Availability is a major issue.
  • Expensive
  • Leaves the shower floor slippery

Conclusion : John Frieda products have not disappointed me yet and I love using it. I recently coloured my hair in the shade walnut brown and purchased shampoo/conditioner from their Brunette Range. And I am loving it already. This is definitely a brand that lives up to its claims.

Hi all !!
Apologies for MIA, thanks to my laptop's screen and frame ... but now that i've finally got it back after 2 weeks (and yess still certain keys aren't working) i quickly want to review Anna Andre Signature Ultra Precision Waterproof eyeliner.

Now with even more long-lasting action and intensity of color.

Price : Rs.395/-
Quantity : 2gms
Shelf life : 3yrs
Shade : 60699 (Black)
Available on UrbanTouch and BeauteBoutique.com

The eyeliner comes packed inside a cardboard carton, with details on it. The eyeliner itself is a marker style pen, and has a felt-tip point designed to make eyeliner application easy.

Ingredients :-

In the first few uses, i had noThe felt tip is quite spongy and making precision lines is a fine job with it. The only problem i had with it was, that the felt tip gets kinda dry and then one need to wait for a long time for it to gain its previous state. So for that i tried placing it upside down so that the formula wets the felt tip. The shade isn't jet black, but good for every day use without being too stark. It dries off easily, and doesn't flakes. But with time, it tends to fade off gradually, and at times it has got transferred to my lids (extreme sweating), so i'm not pretty sure how it will survive extreme summers or rains.

Here's a swatch, when the felt tip was dry..

And here its on my (bare) eyes without any mascara, thankfully the tip was wet enough for me to apply easily.

This was my first felt tip eyeliner, and its performance is ok, can't really compare it with any other of its own kind..

Have you tried Anna Andre Signature Ultra Precision Waterproof eyeliner ??

Ps : Product sent by the brand for consideration, however it hasn't affected my opinion.
