Although
there are a hundred home remedies for all problems a lot of us are lazy to take
the effort to make the pack/ skin tonic and resort to store bought ones. So in this post, I’ll talk about two store bought face packs and tell you why I
love them and how it can be used.
VLCC Fruits Anti-Tan Pack:
This pack is very effective for removing tan provided it is used every
alternate day. You can see a reduction of the tan with regular use. Inexpensive
(Rs75 for 85 gms). This one can be used on all skin types. For those who have
dry skin let me tell you one thing: it does not dry out the skin further nor
does it moisturize it. It just removes the tan and makes you look a little
brighter. I wouldn’t say fairer because its job is to only restore your
original skin tone and get rid of tan.
The Nature’s Co Corn Exfoliating Face Pack :
This one not only works as a face pack but also works as a scrub. Just before
removing the pack, you need to wet and scrub
your face with the pack (It has corn grits). This pack not only brightens your
face but also removes flaky skin thanks to the scrub. Although I love this scrub for what it is you
can easily make it at home .Rs 1595 for 200 ml
Remember:
- While buying face packs from stores , think if you want to get it for any specific purpose (e.g: pigmentation issues). Check ingredients and see if there is anything you might be allergic to.
- If you buy fresh masks (like Lush) store them in the refrigerator. That’s the only way they’ll stay longer.
- Always try and buy face packs/masks which have natural ingredients. Do not go in for ones with high chemical content.
Which is your favourite store bought face
masks/packs?
