This post is a small review of Clarins Hydra-matte Lotion, and thank God for making this lotion for combination/oily skin. Since i received a small trial version of this lotion, i can't say that this is a full review, but i've used it enough and still have some more for a couple of days, i can give you a short and quick review. So presenting you Clarins Hydra-Matte Lotion for Combination Skin...

Claims :-

Refreshing lotion — with purifying Alpine Willow Herb and soothing Linden — instantly calms irritations, tightens pores and takes-down shine at the T-zone — ensuring a fresh matte complexion. Helps slow excess sebum production so skin stays shine-free and moisture-perfected throughout the day. Apply after Truly Matte Pore Minimizing Serum.

Ingredients :-

• Extracts of Linden and Green Algae: moisturize and soothe.
• Oil-sensitive combination of Chrysin, Alpine Willow Herb, White Dead Nettle, Zinc, Vitamin B6: leaves skin matte, reduces excessive oil production in oily areas.
• Lantana from Madagascar: astringent, purifies skin and tightens pores.
• Clarins new Anti-Pollution complex (White Tea, Succory Dock-Cress, Glycofilm): protects against free radicals and the harmful effects of the environment.

How to apply :-

Apply in the morning to cleansed face and neck. To prolong the effects of the products in the Truly Matte range, set make-up using Shine Stopper Powder.

The texture of the lotion is fluid, kind of serum but neither thick nor runny or goopy, and perfect for combination skin. There's a very mild fragrance to it, and since the texture is light, it gets absorbed into the skin easily.

This lotion has been kind enough to provide my skin sufficient hydration in summers without making it oily on application. It provides hydration, while the skin looks matte and healthy. For me It does help in controlling the oil for 3-4hrs (depends on how oily your skin is).

• Are happy with using any lotion/cream to your face.
• Can't spend much on expensive skin care brand.
