EOTD : Glam Purple Eye makeup Tutorial !

Hi all !!

Today i'd be doing a tutorial using my new Coastal Scents hot pots, and the color i chose for this is Purple  aaahh my never ending love for Purple !! So anyways i wanted this to be somewhat smokey + something glam or bling !! Something which can be worn for a night out, date or dinner. 

This is how the look turned out..

1. Prime Lids and apply  base eyeshadow :-

I started off by applying some compact powder to insure my lids are sans any oil. After that i used an e/s that somewhat matches my skintone (but it also has a mauve tint) , sorry for weird description, but mine looks brown in pan, and on application it reflects some mauvish tint.

2. Blend crease and apply purple e/s :-

I did the reversal of the traditional rule, i.e. i blended a soft pink shade into my crease first to provide a wash of color, and then applied purple e/s onto the lid. You can of course apply the e/s first and then blend it out.

3. Apply matte black e/s close the lashes:-

After that using an angled brush (something like MAC 266) i brushed some matte black e/s close to the lash line, just to provide a soft smoked look. Then i applied a shimmery purple gel eyeliner on top of it.

Now the eyeliner part is tricky for this look, you can do a regular eyeliner, but i tight lined my eyes using black gel eyeliner, and extended it inwards (near tear duct area) to get a pointed look , and likewise i extended the line from the waterline to get a crisp wing. Loaded lots of mascara on top and bottom lashes.
