Hiya Ladies!

I was too excited to write for Upasana a.k.a Our very own “Oopsi”  from a long long time. And when she told me that she is announcing a new giveaway very soon I was jumping with HAPPINESS. Me and her share a special bond, she always has been my partner in crime in all good deeds we do. YES, Good deeds only, coz she will never support me if m wrong nor  will I support her if she is wrong. That’s the best part about our friendship. Cheers…Upsi! :-* :-D  U rock baby.. Ooops ..oops.. I always have this tendency to go off track..Dammit! Coming back to the point.. Today, me going to review on Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in shade BRONZE 1. No, I don’t have a bronzy look/skintone, its just that My aunt got this for me from US without knowing my actual skintone and this is one tone darker than my skintone on my face. Sad! I knw..but I know how to make this work..How???? LOL..U’ll know.. ;-) :-P

It also has an inbuilt mirror which is the cover of the jar where you can c your  face clearly while doing ur make up. I love it! <3

Product Description –

A weightless, skin-perfecting powder, Mary Kay® Mineral Powder Foundation in Bronze 1 provides buildable coverage and is transfer-resistant so it won't fade away midday. It's a skin perfecter that makes lines, wrinkles and other imperfections seem to disappear. And it's suitable for sensitive skin. It blends effortlessly with the sweep of a brush for a flawless look.

Application Techniques –

·     Cleanse and moisturise your face. Allow your moisturizer and any other treatment products to become dry to the touch.

·       With the jar lid on, gently shake the Mineral Powder Foundation Jar to dispense the Foundation into the sifter.

·       Remove the lid and lightly dip your Mineral Foundation Brush into the powder and tap against the rim of the jar to remove any excess. You do not need to use all the powder in the sifter- a little goes a long way.

·       Swirl the Mineral Foundation Brush inside the lid so that the powder is worked into the bristles.

·       To apply, start in the center of the face and work your way out on either side toward the hairline and along the jawline – blending well. For a light, natural coverage, a single, thin layer should be enough. For increased coverage, repeat the application process applying the Mineral Powder Foundation in thin layers until you reach your desired coverage level.

My Experience with Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in Bronze 1-

I like the coverage provided by this mineral powder. Also it is good for acne prone skin like me, coz it never gave me any kind of break outs, also the pores are not visible with this, this gives u a perfect matte smooth finish even if u have super oily skin. One can easily use this daily without falling for any skin trouble. The quantity is really good and the coverage is near to medium. it stays easily for 2-3hrs and one can re apply after that :-)  The only problem is MARY KAY has limited shades plus it might not be suitable for most indian skintones, the bronze 1 looks perfect on my hands but on my face its slightly darker so i have to top this with my foundi or else i look dark. :-/  hehhe..yes i sumhow find ways to make things work for me :-P The other thing is its too pricey and Availability is a major issue. Mary kay products are really awesome just that they need to work on their prices and availability.

• Gives a matte smooth finish
• No visible pores even if u have them
• stays for 2-3hrs
• Good for acne prone skin
• can be applied daily
• Handy cover mirror
• No break outs
• Good quantity

     What I dislike about Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in Bronze1 -

·         Not exactly my skintone

·         makes me look a bit darker if worn alone

·         pricey

·         availability

·         doesnt have many shades matching indian skintones.

    

    Will I re purchase Mary Kay Mineral Powder Foundation in Bronze 1 -

    Considering the price, i can't think of buying this as there are better loose powder/foundation available in the market at decent prices than this. But nevertheless, gifts are always ACCEPTED  Hope you liked my review, and find it useful ?
