Review : MyFace Cosmetics Blingtone Eyeshadow - Purple Haze

Hi all !

Today i'd be reviewing an eyeshadow from MyFace Cosmetics, and the shade is Purple Haze, and by now you  must have known that i love purple eyeshadows/ pencils a lot, so i was excited to have this in the stash too. Read on to know if its good or bad..

Claims :-

• A wicked wash of icy glamour
• Intense pearlescent shine
• Non-chalky, weightless and soft

Price :- £19.99, $20.00 (i'm not sure, but the website states that)

This single eyeshadow comes in a round clear plastic case, which is sturdy enough. 

On the back of the eyeshadow case you'll get eyeshadow name and a few other details.

The shade purple haze is a very pretty purple shade, which looks dark purple in the pan,

 but once you use it, the color comes out to be very sheer lilal color, and has lots of fine

glitter in it, and no matter how much i tap off the excess amount, there's always a lot of

fallout of glitter. The hue doesn't comes out on its own, apparently on my Indian skin tone,

and oily eyelid, its difficult to see the color, and needs to be layered on to make it visible,

and the more i layer it, the more there's fallout and glitter all over my face. Although the

glitter/shimmer isn't chunky, but its more like sparkle, and hence the name blingtone !!

I have a major problem with this shimmer thing, as it doesn't goes if i use a cosmetic wipe,

or even an eye makeup remover to clear out all the fall out, i even used cello tape to pick

up the shimmer and clear it.

On its own it fails to give an impressive look, and with all the glitter over your face, you 

won't like it. However, with a base like Nyx jumbo eye pencil in milk, or any other white

eyeshadow base, it will come out more bright, and  people with oily lids definitely need 

a primer beneath to make it last long.

Over all a decent, but not my favorite eyeshadow ! i will use it sparingly cause its
quite difficult to deal with the shimmer that gets displaced after you place the eyeshadow
on your lid. Even tapping off the excess amount, and the packing technique doesn't works !

I will do a look using this sometime soon  and sorry for being MIA, will try to be
regular *pinky promise*
