Ok so now a few random facts about me :) 

• I have had a passion since childhood for singing, makeup, dancing and almost everything that a girl needs ! 
• I wanted to pursue any qualification in mainly two streams, i.e I.T and beauty and makeup, and i have done it :P i am a Bachelor of Computer Applications Graduate, and have just completed my Post graduation. Being on Blogger has given me a platform to enjoy both my passions, and most importantly having such good friends here who appreciate and encourage a lot :-*
• I am not a big fan of movies, or street food, or junk food unlike most of the girls have this thing common.
• I barely had any products the time i started blogging this year, but after being active on WiseShe and here on my blog, i have made such a huge vanity, a special thanks To Anamika :-* for promoting and encouraging me throughout and giving me a vision for having my own website one day ! 
• Even i love babies and kids a lot, that as a kid i used to ask mom to open a creche so that i could cuddle and play with babies lol :D
• I always used to fall sick during exams, although things changed a few years back.
• I am a very passionate person, who wants truth and reality in almost every relation, and just can't stand any kind of betrayal or double standards. Due to this i easily get depressed and sink in really low, thats when my love for makeup cheers me up !! :) I want to thank Almighty a lot for giving me a talent like this :P

Artistic Eye Makeup Contest Entry For Indian Vanity Case : Rage of Fire

Hi all !!

I've participated in Cynthia's Artistic Eye Makeup Contest, and my theme for the contest is tadaaa....

RAGE OF FIRE !!

The theme i visioned was fire on eyes, or more specifically ICE !! I have kept the lids almost like frozen and blue with li'l highlights on the inner corner, whereas the "fire" is starting from the dramatic cut-crease that begins from the socket bone. The eyeliner on the bottom lashes is half cut, that gives a crisp open eye effect along with the inner highlights. The fire mask is mainly mix of reds,oranges and highlighted with sunshine yellow. To add a bonus, i used blue lenses. You can see in the images, my eyes are all red and watery, that because of the stupid lenses :-/ they just rejected to sit calmly in my eyes, when i needed them the most :(

It took me almost an hour to complete both the eyes !!  Here are few more pictures ...

You guys should definitely check this awesome contest here, because it will unleash the artist within you ;) I would like to thanks Cynthia a tons for holding such an innovative contest , where at least i could explore all the limits :D i had fun doing this look, and i wished we could send more entries just for fun :P (i know i'm being greedy)

Bling Bling !! Gold and Silver NOTD

 Hii all !!

Today was my first exam !! and i have 3 more to go. Anyways i tried a nail art to relax myself..

Here's how i did it :-

• I used a clear top coat as base.
• Applied a metallic Golden nail paint on the nail tips along the curve.
• Then using the nail brush i left drops of the silver and golden nail paint randomly on the clear part of nails.
• Let the drops dry and finish off with a clear top coat.

Do leave in your comments and feedback for my attempt, although its not that good &  neat. And by the way, This is not an official comeback !! :D

Review : Deborah Eye Design Quad 02 So brown, Review, Swatches & EOTD

Today on the menu is -- Deborah Eye Design Quad , in shade So Brown (02). I purchased this from UrbanTouch.

Price : Rs.595/- (its available on UT for Rs.505/-)

About Deborah Milano Eye Design Quad :-

Eyeshadow ultrasetosa texture and long lasting features blendability under extreme and adjustable coverage that allows you to adjust the color intensity. Each palette contains 4 shades coordinates. Available in 6 Harmonies.

The quad is nicely packaged in a sturdy plastic case, with transparent flip top lid & printed on top is "Deborah Milano". On the bottom of the case is each and every detail you'd want, i.e Introduction, Shade name/number, How to use it, Ingredients list. As far as the shape is concerned, its rather an asymmetrical shape, and they also have provided an applicator, which is too small for my use, although its sponge applicator is way too better than the ordinary sponge tip applicators we get.

This is how it looks like.. ...

It has 4 shades :-

• Highlighter shade : The highlighter shade is a very soft peachy-beige shade with silver tones. I've marked it e/s no.1
• Color : The second shade is a muted golden shade, perfect for fall colors !
• Intensify : The third shade i.e for intensifying is a rust brown color, again very pretty shade.
• Contour : The fourth shade is for contouring, and is a dark brown shade, just good for using on crease.

The texture of the eye shadows is very soft and smooth, and they glide on smoothly. The e/s are all satiny, and can be worn for day/night looks. 

This is a simple Eye look i did using all four colors.

These are the swatches in different light...

My recommendation : These are very good and decently priced e/s which have variations you can check out, but if you're looking for an everyday palette, this might work for you, although they are not matte, but they'r not completely OOT to wear. You should definitely check out this brand !!

Review : Shaclove - Cream for Pimple-prone Skin !!

Today i'd be reviewing SHACLOVE, which is a cream for Pimple-Prone skin !! Yes, if  you have pimples and are tired of everything, then this is one product you should definitely try, we'll explore why ....

About Shaclove :-

Containing unique herbal ingredients, with powerful healing properties, it has been specially formulated for pimples, acne, rash, oily and sensitive skins. It purifies and soothes the skin, reducing inflammation and eruptions, restoring health and beauty. Can also be used as a clarifying mask, before make-up.

Directions for use : Apply on the face and wash it off with water for 20minutes. Can also be combined with Shaderm and applied only on pimples and acne.

Key Ingredients : Castor oil, Rose Distillate, Clove Oil, Light Kaolin, Zinc Oxide

Price : Rs.450/- (its available on Cosmetix.in for Rs.365/-)

Okay so a li'l flashback.. how was i introduced to it ?? You must be wondering that i must be having regular pimple prone skin, but no, last year i got operated and due to medicines i got pimples which i couldn't get rid off by my usual skin care regime. Finally i had to go in for sitting at Shahnaz Hussain Signature Salon, and during my sittings i was told to use this cream to dry the pimples initially. As you can read the directions, it tells that it has to be used as a "mask" for 20mins, but i was told a different regime :-

• I was told to use it at night time. I used it on clean and dry face, and used to apply a thin layer only on the pimples and leave it overnight. I was told to do it atleast twice a day.

I followed this instruction and started noticing the results, and by the end of month my skin was free from pimples, i kept using it until the pimples vanished and the marks too.

The cream has all natural ingredients, and is smooth in texture, pale pink in color, and has clove oil's fragrance (as its the main ingredient). As any other pimple creams or products, this one didn't sting or cause any allergy, and it actually didn't dry the skin, but worked on drying the pimples, and i got rid of marks too. For those having sensitive noses, the fragrance can be a bit of problem, but its not a big deal for me.

What i liked about it ?

• Before using this i had used a lot of other products in my teenage, but none of the product seemed so beneficial. Nevertheless, after using this i can surely rely on it.
• Has natural ingredients.
• It definitely improved my skin's texture, restored its health, and vanished the pimples+marks.
• 25gms of product actually got me through the month, because you have to apply only thin layer on the zits.
• Can be easily purchased form either Chemists shop, Beauty Stores, Shanaz Hussain's Signature Salon, and online.

What i didn't like about it ?

• The Price !! yes paying rs.450/- for a 25gms product might not seem a good idea, but getting it online is still a better deal

My recommendation : Yes !

Review : Revlon ColorBurst Lipgloss - Sienna Sparkle

Today i'd be reviewing the famous Revlon Colorburst Ligloss in shade Sienna Sparkle !! I got this from Healthkart

The lipgloss comes in a rectangular long tube, with shade name on the bottom, the ingredients are also listed on the sticker that comes along with the lipgloss.

The shade- Sienna Sparkle has been described as a brown plum or brown in color, but i would describe it as a berry brown with strong red-maroon undertones and it also has this gold shimmer in it. I tried to take swatches in different lights, and this is the exact color how it looks.

Have a closer look ...

The texture is so creamy unlike the "glossy" lipglosses, its so creamy and applying it with the applicator is extremely easy. The lipgloss is tremendously pigmented, and stays on easily for 3-4hrs on me (even with meal), and after that it starts to fade gracely with tinted lips :) This shade can be a substitute for a lipstick, as it moisturizes the lips and the tint stays on for quite a long time after the lipgloss has faded. The shimmer or should i say "sparkle" is minute,not chunky and not easily noticeable when applied on lips, but yes once the lipgloss has completely faded, you're lips might sparkle LOL :D 

What i like about Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss ?

• They're quite famous, and worth trying. I tried it and i'm happy that i got one for me :D 
• There are lot of shades to choose from.
• The lipgloss are creamy and moisturizing and not at all sticky. Would keep lips hydrated.
• Spending 475Rs/- would not burn a hole in your pocket, because the quantity(5.9ml) is going to last long.
• Can be worn alone or on top of lipsticks

What i didn't like about Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss ?

• Umm particularly i can't think about any dislikes, only thing that i can 'try' to point out is that Sienna Sparkle leaves a bit of sparkles on your lips once the lipgloss has faded away.

My Recommendation : YES ! Try spending on and investing in these lipglosses, as they are extremely pigmented+moisturizing+long lasting !! And as for the shade Sienna Sparkle, it will suit any complexion :) !! Brides-to-be should definitely get this shade for their vanity !

My First Nail Art !! Silver French tip ..

Hi all !!

I was a li'l low today, and for the first time i tried my hands on "nail art" thing (i'm not into nail art and fancy nails, although i like keeping long nails). I picked up my Silver Metallic nail paint from Nail Trend, and used it for the french tip. I used a clear nail paint for the base.

This was my first time, although its not neat, but i gave it a try :)
