Today I am reviewing the Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser. Let’s see how it turned out to be…

What the Company Claims: Is a refreshing facial cleanser that thoroughly removes dirt, oil and dead skin cells while providing long lasting oil control to improve the look and feel of skin. This clean-rinsing cleanser lathers to a rich, creamy foam that dissolves and washes away oil, dirt and skin-dulling impurities that can build up in pores. Oil control formula helps reduce surface oil to keep skin fresh. Skin feels completely clean and refreshed, soft and smooth.

Price:INR 85 for 50gms.

Ingredients: Water, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, PEG-8, Propylene Glycol, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauric Acid, Beeswax, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Fragrance.

My experience:

The product comes in a tube packaging with a flip cap. The cap fits properly so no problem of spillage. I wish it came in a transparent tube to give an indication of the amount left. It foams up really well and gives you that squeaky clean feeling when washing it off. Its creamy white in colour, lathers up well and leaves skin refreshed but also stretchy and dry For me, I like it as a cleanser in the morning as soon as I wake up. It cleans extremely well stripping off all the natural skin oils so make sure to moisturise adequately afterwards.  My skin type is combination-oily and it makes my skin dry and tight so I think it would be more suitable for extremely oil-skinned people.

Conclusion:

It is a good cleanser that does its job of cleaning the skin very well.I recommend the Deep Clean Foaming Cleanser to anyone with extremely oily skin who is looking for a simple cleanser to use in the morning. Keep in mind that it is important to moisturise after using this as it can give your skin that tight feeling, especially dryer skin.

Cons-

• Makes my skin dry so a moisturizer is extremely necessary.

Does its job of deep cleaning the skin extremely well but leaves my skin dry. So might benefit people with extremely oily skin.
