Review : Maybelline Fruity Jelly Lip Gloss Berry Bella

Today i'll be reviewing Maybelline's Fruity Jelly Lip gloss. Well, this isn't a new product, and it was launched last year. The shade i have is Berry Bella, and another shade Cherry kiss has already been reviewed here.

The packaging is simple transparent squeezy tubes, that has enough description on it like ingredients, price list etc. The applicator is good enough to help glide the product smoothly, my only complaint is that when i squeeze some of the gloss out, it gets back inside even before i can apply it (because its something to do with the packaging) so i have to squeeze and hold it tight in order to maintain it on the tip.. confusing ? 

The shade Berry bella is a very sheer muted pink shade with multi colored minute shimmer particles. These particles of course aren't chunky, but they provide a high shine. The texture of the gloss is thick and sticky, but not gooey. Since its slightly sticky as compared to the normal glosses, it stays for a longer time. Any normal gloss's staying power on my lips is around 3hrs, but this has stayed for max 4+hrs. It doesn't feels sticky if applied on a lipstick or lip balm, but applying it directly does feels so.

It looks soo damn good if applied on any pink lipstick, not only it adds an even shine to the lips, but kind of increases the longevity. If applied on its own, it doesn't does any magic to my pigmented lips, so that sometimes put me off . For ladies with naturally healthy pink lips, this lipgloss is a must have.

Overall it is a very nice sheer pink gloss, with a fruity fragrance (ummm i didn't notice any flavor) nice staying power and high shine, in short worth the money you pay !!
