Hello
everyone !!
This
is my entry for the giveaway contest. Today I am reviewing the Fabindia Aloe Vera Under Eye Gel.
What
the Company Claims: This unique formula contains
aloe vera gel that reduces puffiness and revives tired looking eyes. Regular
use helps reduce dark circles and prevents wrinkles.
Price:INR 150
for 25ml.
Ingredients:Purified
Water, Aloe Vera Extract, Glycerine, Triethano- lamine, Carbopol, Methyl
Paraben, Propyl Paraben.
Availability: Fabindia
outlets and most of the online shopping sites. I purchased it from their outlet
in Inorbit Mall, Vashi.
My experience:
It comes in a tiny jar packaging which I consider as
a negative point. I hate to dip my fingers into jars especially if it’s
something that I have to apply on my face. Also the tub looks too cheap, seems
like it might break the moment it falls down. The product is a clear
transparent gel that has a mild fragrance and spreads easily but leaves a
sticky feeling behind. So I avoid putting it during the day time. It’s been a month since I am using this (only
once at night) and more than half the tub is remaining so you get a large
quantity for the price which is a good thing.
Now does it do its job???
My under- eye puffiness and dark circles have
reduced but not significantly. The under eye skin is a bit even toned now and
looks fresh and hydrated. It keeps the under-eye skin moisturized which is a
plus- point, other than that, no significant reduction in dark circles or
puffiness.
Pros-
- Keeps the under-eye skin hydrated.
- Smell is mild so won’t bother many people.
- Small amount is required, hence will last a long time.
Cons-
- Leaves a sticky feel, hence ideal for night time.
- Does not significantly reduce dark circles or puffiness.
- Presence of parabens.
Conclusion: I might try something else rather than
repurchasing this. Something that has no parabens and that does its job also.
